Education
Whether through school, personal experiences or professional experiences, I learn best in a project-based, hands-on environment. The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City was the perfect college for me. I wasn’t interested in fashion, but the degrees I completed provided skills and experiences that went beyond fashion. Since I graduated in 2014, I have been improving my skills in experience design and digital tools (SketchUp and AutoCAD) through personal projects and professional experiences.

Artifact Models & Case Text Rails
In the Fall of 2014, I interned with the Office of Building and Exhibition Services, working on the design of the first floor west wing. The wing is focused around Innovation and Inventions, which opened in July 2015.
Assisting the designer, I worked on the three cases in the concourse. The first and largest case contains Prototypes and Patents artifacts, while the smaller cases are for Trademarks and National Inventors Hall of Fame artifacts.
I created basic 3D models and glyphs of the artifacts using Vectorworks to help the curators and designer visualize them in the three cases. I also worked with the designer to lay out the cases, also in Vectorworks.
I laid out the text and glyphs for each of the artifacts for each case’s text rails utilizing InDesign. I also managed the process of assembling the information with the curators and designer.
